Pets are more than just animals to us - they are our friends. Whether young or old, large or small, our dedication and skill will provide the best care possible with stimulating and varied walks to keep them occupied, entertained and well exercised.

 

Walk-eez is not just a dog walking business, we are enthusiastic dog lovers and have years of experience in all elements of dog behaviour, welfare and care.

 

If we can't help you with something particularly challenging then we know someone who can and will be willing to help.

We specialize in ad-hoc walks, for when you don't know what you're doing from one week to the next, or if you work shifts and only need help occasionally.  We aim to be as flexible as possible with short notice walks available within 24hrs notice or even on the day!

 

Based in Dorking, we are limited to the areas we can cover due to having regular walks with existing dogs, therefore, we can only really cover from North - Leatherhead to East- Buckland to South - Beare Green to West- Holmbury and all in between!

JUST A DOG

 

From time to time, people tell me to lighten up, its "just a dog". They don't understand the distance travelled, the time spent or the costs involved for "just a dog".

 

Some of my proudest moments have come about with "just a dog".

 

Many hours have passed and my only company was "just a dog", but I did not feel slighted.

 

Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "just a dog" and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "just a dog" gave me comfort and a reason to overcome the day.

 

If you too, think it's "just a dog", then you will probably understand such phrases as "just a friend", "just a sunrise" or "just a promise".

 

"Just a dog" brings into my life the very essense of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. "Just a dog" brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person.

 

Because of "just a dog" I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future.

 

So for me and folks like me, it's not "just a dog" but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past and the pure joy of the moment.

 

"Just a dog" brings out what's good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day.  I hope that someday they can understand that it's not "just a dog" but a thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being "just a human".

 

So, the next time you hear the phrase "just a dog", just smile, because they "just don't understand".

If your dog also needs walking at short notice or at the weekends, we are here to help and will do our very best to be available when you need us.

 

Based in Dorking we cover the immediate area and enjoy the numerous area's of wonderful walking that are on our doorstep.  Not for us the walks that go to the same place every day, we'd get bored with that and so would the dogs, this leads to complacency and territory marking, so we like to vary our walks as much as possible so everyone can have new views, new smells and new dogs to play with.
